Pattaya is not a single golf destination with every course beside the city. Its golf courses spread north toward Si Racha and Chonburi, east around the inland countryside, and south toward Na Jomtien, Sattahip and Rayong. That geography affects hotel choice, pickup time and whether two courses make sense in the same itinerary.
This practical Pattaya golf course map groups courses by direction rather than copying a commercial mapping platform. It helps you compare hotel areas and plan a private driver. It does not promise exact transfer times: traffic, roadworks, weather, hotel access and the selected course entrance all affect the day. Request a live estimate after you have confirmed the hotel, course and tee time.

How to read transfer-time claims
There is no honest single answer to “How long from Pattaya to the golf course?” because “Pattaya” may mean Naklua, Beach Road, Pratumnak, Jomtien or Na Jomtien. A hotel on the southern edge of the city can shorten the trip to Chee Chan but lengthen the trip to Bangpra. The reverse can be true for a North Pattaya hotel.
Two official examples show why a range is more useful:
- Chee Chan Golf Resort states that it is around 30 minutes from Pattaya City and around 20 minutes from Jomtien Beach.
- Laem Chabang International Country Club describes itself as about 30 minutes from Pattaya.
Those are course-published orientation estimates, not TOP PATTAYA TAXI guarantees. Use them to understand direction, then ask for a pickup time based on your exact booking.

Zone 1: south and south-east of Pattaya
This group is often convenient from Jomtien, Na Jomtien and southern Pattaya:
- Chee Chan Golf Resort;
- Phoenix Gold Golf & Country Club;
- Plutaluang Navy Golf Course;
- Eastern Star Golf Course;
- The Emerald Golf Course.
Chee Chan Golf Resort
Chee Chan is in the Na Jomtien/Sattahip area near the Khao Chi Chan landscape. Its official site positions it closer to Jomtien than central Pattaya and publishes its own orientation estimates. It is a natural candidate for a day based in Jomtien or Na Jomtien.
Phoenix Gold Golf & Country Club
Phoenix Gold is south of central Pattaya in the Huay Yai area. The official course describes three nine-hole layouts—Mountain, Lakes and Ocean—and advises visitors to book a round directly. Its location makes it practical to pair with a southern hotel or another southern course on a multi-day itinerary.
Plutaluang, Eastern Star and The Emerald
These courses lie farther toward Sattahip, Ban Chang or Rayong than the central-city courses. They normally deserve more schedule margin from North Pattaya. They can work efficiently in an itinerary based in Na Jomtien or near U-Tapao, but the exact route must be checked for the day.
Best hotel bases for the south zone
- Jomtien: useful balance between city access and southbound routes.
- Na Jomtien: often the most direct orientation for Chee Chan and Phoenix.
- Central Pattaya: still workable, but allow additional urban pickup time.
- North Pattaya/Naklua: convenient for city stays, less efficient for repeated south-zone rounds.
Zone 2: east and inland from Pattaya
The inland group includes several of the region’s most recognised courses:
- Siam Country Club Old Course;
- Siam Country Club Plantation;
- Siam Country Club Waterside;
- Siam Country Club Rolling Hills;
- Pattaya Country Club;
- St Andrews 2000;
- Rayong Green Valley Country Club.
Siam Country Club courses
Siam Country Club’s official website lists four Pattaya courses: Old Course, Plantation, Waterside and Rolling Hills. These are separate venues, not interchangeable names for one clubhouse. A booking must include the exact course.
That distinction matters for transport. “Siam Country Club” alone may send a driver toward the wrong entrance. Include:
- full course name;
- tee date and time;
- booking-holder name;
- official map pin or reservation confirmation.
Pattaya Country Club
This is an inland option listed on TOP PATTAYA TAXI’s Golf Courses page. It can be a relatively direct eastbound trip depending on your hotel and current traffic, but live routing is required.
St Andrews 2000 and Rayong Green Valley
These courses are farther inland toward Rayong. They can be grouped in the same geographic day because they are associated with the same wider golf area, but confirm exact club entrances and tee-time procedures.
Best hotel bases for the east zone
Central Pattaya and the east side of the city provide a balanced start. Jomtien can also work, particularly if the route avoids the busiest central streets. Hotel access often matters as much as the district: a property on a narrow lane may require extra pickup time.

Zone 3: north toward Laem Chabang and Si Racha
The northern group includes:
- Laem Chabang International Country Club;
- Burapha Golf Club;
- Bangpra Golf Club;
- Crystal Bay Golf Club;
- Khao Kheow Country Club;
- Pleasant Valley Golf & Country Club;
- Pattana Sports Resort.
Laem Chabang International Country Club
The official Laem Chabang site describes a 27-hole course with Mountain, Lake and Valley nines and states that it is about 30 minutes from Pattaya. Its Si Racha-side location makes it a logical northern-day anchor.
Burapha Golf Club
Burapha is in the Si Racha area and is commonly grouped with northern golf routes. Verify the official pin and tee-time status before travel; map services may show multiple gates or similarly named facilities.
Bangpra, Crystal Bay, Khao Kheow and Pleasant Valley
These courses sit north of Pattaya and may require a longer transfer than the Laem Chabang/Burapha group, depending on the hotel and road conditions. North Pattaya or Naklua can reduce the urban portion of the journey.
Pattana Sports Resort
Pattana’s official site describes a 27-hole golf course within a larger sports resort in Si Racha. Because it is farther inland and north, it deserves a separate live route check rather than a generic “Pattaya course” estimate.
Best hotel bases for the north zone
- Naklua/North Pattaya: usually the most efficient city base for repeated northbound trips.
- Central Pattaya: balanced for nightlife and mixed-zone itineraries.
- Jomtien/Na Jomtien: possible, but crossing the city can add variability.
Zone 4: farther north or inland
Greenwood Golf Club and Treasure Hill Golf Club are among the courses that can require more planning from the main hotel strip. They may still be excellent itinerary choices, particularly for golfers prioritising variety, but schedule them as dedicated days rather than assuming they are beside Pattaya.
When a course is in this category:
- confirm the exact official location;
- avoid a late hotel departure;
- plan breakfast before pickup;
- carry everything needed for the day;
- verify the return arrangement with the driver;
- avoid pairing it with a distant southern course.

Hotel-area comparison
| Hotel area | Most convenient orientation | Trade-off |
|---|---|---|
| Naklua / North Pattaya | North and Si Racha courses | Longer cross-city start for south-zone courses |
| Central Pattaya | Balanced for mixed itineraries | Urban traffic can affect both departure and return |
| Pratumnak | Useful middle position between central and Jomtien | Hotel access roads vary |
| Jomtien | South and south-east, still workable for east | Longer for far-north courses |
| Na Jomtien | Chee Chan, Phoenix and southern routes | Less efficient for multiple north-zone days |
This is a directional comparison, not a promised journey-time table.
How early should pickup be?
Work backwards from the course’s requirement:
- Confirm tee time directly with the club.
- Ask when golfers must check in.
- Allow time to unload golf bags and find the registration desk.
- Obtain a live road estimate for the exact hotel and course.
- Add a sensible traffic margin.
- Agree on a driver contact and hotel meeting point.
Do not set pickup from the tee time alone. Golf clubs can require players to arrive earlier for registration, payment, caddie allocation or warm-up.
TOP PATTAYA TAXI does not book tee times unless that service is explicitly agreed. The Golf Courses transfer page lists current private-transport rates by course and vehicle category.
Build a three-day itinerary by geography
A practical sequence might be:
- Day 1 — South: Chee Chan or Phoenix Gold.
- Day 2 — East: one of the exact Siam Country Club venues or Pattaya Country Club.
- Day 3 — North: Laem Chabang, Burapha or another confirmed north-zone course.
This creates variety while keeping each day geographically coherent. Our three-day Pattaya golf itinerary explains the logistics in detail.

Vehicle choice matters as much as the map
Golf bags are long and consume luggage space differently from suitcases. A vehicle’s advertised passenger seats do not prove that a specific combination of golfers, travel covers and normal luggage will fit.
Send:
- number of passengers;
- number of golf bags;
- hard-case or soft-case information;
- number of normal suitcases;
- any pushchairs or mobility equipment;
- one photo of the complete luggage group.
Read our sedan, SUV or van guide for golf bags before confirming the vehicle.
Private-driver day or one-way course transfer?
A simple return course booking works when you play one round and return to the hotel. A driver arrangement with agreed waiting or multiple stops may be more suitable when the day includes:
- breakfast outside the hotel;
- a course change;
- a post-round restaurant;
- equipment pickup;
- several golfers staying at different hotels.
Golf transport is custom-quoted for the stated itinerary. The written quote must identify the exact course or courses, pickup and return plan, driver waiting, every planned stop and any overtime treatment. Do not infer any of these items from a course fare alone.
Compare options in our Pattaya golf transport guide.

Common golf-transfer mistakes
Saying only “Siam Country Club”
There are multiple Pattaya venues. Name Old Course, Plantation, Waterside or Rolling Hills.
Trusting one map estimate days in advance
Use it as an orientation, not a guarantee. Confirm pickup planning closer to the travel date.
Choosing a vehicle from passenger count
Golf bags change the load. Send the real bag list.
Combining opposite zones
A north course and a south course on the same day may create unnecessary road time. Group by geography.
Forgetting the club’s arrival requirement
Your tee time is not necessarily your check-in time. Ask the club.
Frequently asked questions
Which golf course is closest to Central Pattaya?
The answer depends on the exact hotel and course entrance. Several Siam Country Club and Pattaya-area courses can be relatively accessible, but a live route check is more reliable than a universal ranking.
Which courses are convenient from Jomtien?
Chee Chan and Phoenix Gold are logical south-zone options. Chee Chan’s official site states approximately 20 minutes from Jomtien Beach, subject to conditions.
Which courses suit a North Pattaya hotel?
Laem Chabang, Burapha and other Si Racha/Chonburi-side courses often align well with a northbound start.
Are golf-course rates one way or return?
Confirm the service scope for the quoted course rate. Do not assume waiting or a return trip is included unless the booking confirmation says so.
Can the driver hold our luggage during golf?
This must be agreed before travel. Describe all luggage and valuables and ask what can remain in the vehicle under the confirmed service.
